Application of Statistical Quality Control Methods to Sarong Product Quality at UD. Utomo Joyo

UD. Utomo Joyo has problems related to monthly production defects, where the company a maximum defect target of 5% total for one period, but defects that occur exceed estimates. This study aims find solutions improve application Statistical Quality Control method quality sarong products at using Seven Tools (7 QC), namely flowcharts, checksheets, histograms, control charts, pareto diagrams, scatter and fishbone diagrams. The results analysis discussion show there are 2 types product such as yarn break color fade/flex while most common or dominant is with percentage 68.3%. findings these defective still within limits UCL LCL. proposed improvements rescheduling check tools regularly, providing adequate safe lighting facilities eye health, SOP education workers before starting work. advice given provide more focus on in order reduce losses increase customer satisfaction future.
